Privacy Policy
Effective October 2026
This website, tobygoldbach.com, is operated by Toby Susan Goldbach, who offers private conflict advisory under the name Creative Conflict Leadership. This policy explains what personal information I collect through this website, why I collect it, how I protect it, and the choices you have. I handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.
What I collect
I collect only the information you choose to give me through the forms on this site:
- Conflict Script assessment: your first name, email address, role, organization size (optional), your answers, and your results.
- Consultation requests: your name, email address, role and organization, the engagement you are interested in, a brief description of your situation (optional), and how you heard about this work.
- Transformation Lab waitlist: your name, email address, role, and the conflict skill you would most like to build (optional).
- Book updates: your first name and email address.
- Your consent choices, and the date and time of each submission.
Please do not include names of other people or confidential details in the consultation form. We can discuss your situation privately once we are in touch.
Like most websites, this site's hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information (such as your browser type and IP address) to operate and secure the site. I do not use advertising cookies or sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Why I collect it
- To show you and email you your assessment results.
- To respond to your consultation request or inquiry.
- To tell you when the Transformation Lab opens, or when the book is published, if you signed up for that.
- To send you occasional writing on conflict and leadership, only if you ticked the box agreeing to receive it.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the assessment is used, so I can improve it.
I will not use your information for any other purpose without your consent, unless required by law.
Consent and your choices
By submitting a form, you consent to the use of your information for the purpose of that form. Marketing emails are sent only to people who have expressly opted in. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing me. Withdrawing consent will not affect information already used for its original purpose.
Service providers and storage outside Canada
I use trusted service providers to run this site and handle your information on my behalf: Lovable (website hosting and form storage), Resend (sending emails), and Google (email and spreadsheet storage). These providers may store or process information in the United States or other countries, where it may be accessible to authorities under the laws of those countries. I share only what each provider needs to perform its service, and they are required to protect it.
How long I keep it
I keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above. Assessment results and sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete them. Consultation requests that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within two years. Information about advisory clients is governed by the confidentiality terms of our engagement agreement.
How I protect it
Access to the information collected through this site is limited to me. I use password-protected accounts with reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
Accessing or correcting your information
You may ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me at the address below and I will respond within 30 days.
Questions or concerns
I am responsible for personal information collected through this site. If you have a question or concern, please contact me at tobysusangoldbach@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for B.C.
